MISSION:

Organize pre-service teacher education programs to orient them with modern and innovative pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning.
To act as a premier district institute to guide and lead educational institutes and schools of the district.
Our mission is to act as a nodal agency to provide continuing professional development training to the in-service teachers of the district.
To serve as a platform for research and experimental work in the educational domain.
To support and implement the various educational interventions of national as well as state agencies of education.

To bring about a qualitative change in elementary as well as secondary education.
To empower teachers through quality pre-service and in-service training.
To make effort for establishing a knowledge society.
To establish a learning community.
To work for the well-being and progress of the local community and society.
To function as a centre of excellence in teacher training and research.
To work in tandem with all stakeholders of education to establish the four pillars of NEP 2020 Access, Equity, Quality, and Accountability.
